EIX has a built-in automated GTO resubmission workflow to mitigate any outage or technical issue that could occur at the host server.


Unfortunately, 99% of shopping malls today still use FTP servers to receive GTO files from tenant POS systems. FTP technology is inferior in many ways, such as lacking scalability, performance, and security, and being complex to set up. Additionally, it poses serious integration issues with modern POS systems that are primarily developed using cloud computing architecture.


To address the limitations of aging architecture, EIX provides a workflow to manage these technical constraints, thereby increasing the reliability of the GTO submission service.


EIX WORKFLOW

  1. EIX collect POS data via API service and store a backup of the raw data
  2. Kick start data cleansing and GTO calculation and output of GTO result to be consume by the mall
  3. Forward GTO files to the GTO submission server to connect to the host server, transfer GTO file and mark as closure by the acknowledgement from the host server

SUBMISSION FAILURE WORKFLOW

  1. Retry every 6 hours across 48 hours with total 6 resubmission attempts
  2. Thereafter, retry 2 times with second submission method
  3. Send manual GTO via email after 72 hours and fail with all attemps.
